CERAMIC JARS WORKSHOP

Sullivan Public founder, Jessie Lazar, will be hosting the next session in her series of hand-building workshops. Jessie has been teaching ceramics for nearly 15 years at a range of NYC studios, most recently holding sold-out classes at Gasworks in Brooklyn. She loves to teach and brings new skills and techniques to each class held at Sullivan Public.

Our next installment of making with mud we will explore jars and boxes. We will learn to construct a lidded vessel to store your treasures/salt/pot. Come for an afternoon deepening your skills or learning brand new ones!

Each participant will make a planter of your choosing. We will finish your pieces, glaze and fire them in the color of your choice. We will also have an assortment of small plants to take with you when your planter is done a couple weeks later.
