PLANTER WORKSHOP

Sullivan Public founder, Jessie Lazar, will be hosting the next session in her series of hand-building workshops. Jessie has been teaching ceramics for nearly 15 years at a range of NYC studios, most recently holding sold-out classes at Gasworks in Brooklyn. She loves to teach and brings new skills and techniques to each class held at Sullivan Public.

In this ceramic workshop let’s get back together and play with clay! We will spend this next pottery session making planters. In this dark season, let’s make ceramic vessels to bring some vibrant green life indoors. We will focus on a new technique to build planters and accompanying drainage plates.

Each participant will make a planter of your choosing. We will finish your pieces, glaze and fire them in the color of your choice. We will also have an assortment of small plants to take with you when your planter is done a couple weeks later.
